The climate and health nexus in Europe and central Asia: a technical brief

Overview

This document summarizes the key evidence of the multiple links between climate change and health in Europe and central Asia.

It was produced to provide background information on the current knowledge about climate-related health effects for the Pan-European Commission on Climate and Health (PECCH) – an independent advisory group convened by the WHO Regional Office for Europe to raise the political profile, awareness and support for stronger action to address the health impacts of climate change.
