The Bursa Commitment: adopted by the mayors and political leaders of the WHO European Healthy Cities Network at the launch of phase VIII (2026–2030)

The Bursa Commitment reflects the outcome of a consultative process involving a group of mayors who participated in our last Annual Business Meeting and Technical Conference, held in June 2025 in Bursa, Turkey. The purpose of this consultation was to align on the new values and priorities that will guide the work of the WHO European Healthy Cities Network in its upcoming work cycle known as Phase VIII which will begin in January 2026.
