70th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 70th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe (RC70) will be held virtually for the first time ever. Health ministers and high-level representatives of the 53 Member States of the WHO European Region as well as partner organizations and civil society will be connected to discuss health issues on a 2-day agenda.

The European Programme of Work (EPW) sets out a vision of how the WHO Regional Office for Europe can support countries in our region better in meeting citizens' expectations about health. It aligns the work of WHO/Europe with the triple billion targets, while supporting countries in their commitments to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Global Action Plan for Healthy Lives and Well-Being for All.
